It’s day 29 of the 30 day blogging challenge, so this is going to be a letter to 13 year old me.
So it’s future me here and in hindsight, here are a few things that may come in useful.
- Stop stressing out about technology and graphics class, we both know you don’t plan on taking them for GCSE. Mrs R is evil and your parents couldn’t care less about your graphics and tech grade, so there is no need to spend hours and hours on tech and graphics homework, because I can assure you it won’t be appreciated.
- Do not even think about self harm as an option. It becomes an addiction and a struggle for years. It’s not helpful and will only make things worse. The lying, the pushing people away and the guilt will ruin you.
- Stop obsessing over your appearance, it’s not that important and people really don’t care that much. Being skinnier will not make people like you more.
- Enjoy your time with friends and family, when exams start in a few years you won’t have time for anything, and A-levels come next, so cherish your free time and do something good with it.
That’s all I can think of for now.
Thank you for reading!
